Baby oh Baby It's Been awhile..

So I haven't been on here in forever and I never posted about My labor or the baby.. So I figured what the heck its been almost a year let me finish it off. So here I am finishing my Chappell Baby and then printing it out for my Sophie's baby book.

First off let me start off with why I stop blogging. My husband was laid off from his job 1 week before Sophie was due. Let me tell you how tore up I was. It was so hard just because they took my insurance right from under our feet. I was shattered and didn't know what we were going to do. Let me just say I HATE SCHLUMBERGER!!!!! They say they are family orientated but they are not.. All a LIE.

My mom was kind enough to let us move in with her until we could get back on our feet again. Thing was she lived in San Antonio Texas. My mother in law was with us at he time and she also lived in San Antonio so we pack up the house in about 2 1/2 - 3 days and Drove all the way to San Antonio. Me 9 months pregnant.. Man was that a hard trip.. So we made it to San Antonio and I started looking for doctors that would take me as a VBAC.. No one would.. I felt like crying all the time.. I never thought I would be in this situation to were I felt so helpless and scared. Not just for me but for my baby I was carrying..

I stared having hard contractions on the 22nd of March. Which is the due date my doctor had given me. It was around lets say 2 ish am that we headed up to the er.. I warned them that if they were to put a knife anywhere near me I was going to sue. I was not having another c-section. I would go give birth in our vehicle and then come back into the er when I had the baby if it was going to come down to that. It just so happened the doctor that was on call that night knew the doctor who did my c-section and agreed she would take me on as a patient and let me have a VBAC.. Praise the Lord.. It was all his doing. He knew what was going to happen. I should have just left it all alone and he would have provided , What can I say. I'm human and I freaked but everything worked out perfectly. I was only in labor for 4 hrs and only pushed twice and I had a beautiful baby girl. 6lbs 8oz... It was the easiest labor I could have asked for.

So now Sophia is 10 months and into everything. She is starting to walk and loves to play with her brother.. She calls him Bubba.. I couldn't ask for a better child. Oh and I was so worried about breastfeeding and in all actuality it was so easy and she does great. THE END !!!!
